Investigate - Criterion A: Inquiring & Analyzing
i.) Explain and justify the need for a solution to your problem.
ii.) Construct a research plan which states and prioritizes the primary and secondary research needed to develop a solution to your problem.
Think about what questions you'll need to answer in order to address your issue. How can you collect data that will help you solve your problem?

Students will learn specific advertising techniques that are used to sell a product or service that can be applied when creating a Public Service Announcements.

Students will have hands on practice "hunting" for these techniques in popular magazines. Students will also practice their presentation (and listening!) skills before they test their knowledge on their advertising test.

Plan - Criterion B: Developing Ideas
ii.) Present a range of feasible design ideas, which can be correctly interpreted by others. iii.) Present the chosen design and outline the reasons for its selection. iv.) Develop accurate planning drawings/diagrams and outline requirements for the creation of the chosen solution. |
i.) Develop a design specification, which outlines the success criteria for the design of a solution based on the data collected.
